Thursday’s Treasures: Your Weekly Roundup of Delicious Recipes & Creative Crafts for Valentine’s Week!
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! As the season of love fills the air, we’re buzzing with excitement and a touch of pre-travel chaos here at home. Tomorrow marks Valentine’s Day, and I hope you all have wonderful plans, whether it’s a romantic dinner, a cozy night in, or a fun gathering with friends and family.
Upcoming Adventures & Pre-Trip Preparations
Life at home is currently a whirlwind of activity, primarily centered around packing! My youngest daughter and I are embarking on an exciting class trip to Washington D.C. bright and early on Friday morning. As someone who absolutely detests returning to a messy house filled with dirty laundry and a never-ending chore list, I’m deep in “pre-departure cleaning mode.” I know, it’s probably a futile effort since I’m leaving my wonderful husband and two teenagers behind, but a girl can dream, right? At the very least, I’m determined to ensure everyone has a fresh set of clean clothes to start their week while I’m away. I’ll simply deal with whatever awaits me when I get back – a task I’ve grown quite accustomed to!
This trip promises to be an incredible experience. We have a fantastic group of kids going, and the itinerary is packed with so many educational and fun activities. They’ve even managed to squeeze in a day trip to Baltimore, which will be an exciting bonus. I’m really looking forward to creating some unforgettable memories with my daughter and her classmates.
